I bought an MF 1433V last spring, and now it is time for
it's 50 hour service. The book recomends changing the
transmission oil and filter, but none of the 3 dealers in the area carry the filter. They can order it for around
$74. This seems kinda high for a spin-on filter. Is this
the norm for these tractors? (this is my first compact).
Any mail order sources? The part numbers are:
Hydraulic: 3607790M1
Oil: 3710280M2

That can't be right. I have a MF 1250 and the hydraulic filter is about $27 if I remember right. I know that it wasn't more than that. I really think that the 1433 and the 1250 use the same filter. You might try e-mailing Tractor Smart to get their price. ....

Lands........I hope that you have the wrong part number so that the price is wrong. But check Tractor Smart and see if their prices are cheaper. If I had to pay that much, I would take my old filter to TSC and match it up to one there. ....
